Your patients, your treatment plan.
Dr Afshin Yousefpour, stomatologist and oral and maxillofacial surgeon in Waterloo and Brussels, performs the surgery for your patients: implants, bone grafts, sinus lifts, wisdom teeth and impacted teeth. You keep the prosthetic work and the follow-up of your patient.
Surgery here, prosthetics with you.
Dr Yousefpour operates at your request, on the indication you have made. Once surgery is complete and healing has been checked, your patient returns to you for the prosthesis and routine follow-up. You are kept informed at every stage.
The practice is fully digital: a large-field CBCT, an intraoral scanner and 3D facial photography allow a complete assessment on site, on the day of the consultation.
Trained as a stomatologist and as a maxillofacial surgeon.
Dr Yousefpour qualified in stomatology in Brussels in 1997. In all, he completed 12 years of training in Belgium and 7 years of surgical training in centres of excellence in the United Kingdom, where he was appointed Consultant Specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery in 2006. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCSEd).
He treats straightforward and complex cases alike: insufficient bone, impacted teeth close to the inferior alveolar nerve or the sinus, severely atrophic maxilla.
3D planning, guided and navigated surgery.
Every implant placement is planned in 3D from the CBCT and intraoral scans. Depending on the case, surgery is performed with a surgical guide or with the X-Guide dynamic navigation system, which shows the position of the drill against the plan in real time.
When bone is lacking, it is rebuilt before or during placement: particulate or block bone grafting, sinus lift or socket preservation at the time of extraction. Piezosurgery (ultrasound) is used where indicated to protect the nerve and soft tissues.
What you can refer to us.

Four stages, coordinated with you.
Step 1
Assessment at the practice
Your patient is seen at Face Clinic in Waterloo, where clinical examination, CBCT and intraoral scan are done on the same day, or at Delta Hospital in Brussels.
Step 2
Planning
3D planning of the procedure, discussed with you when implant position determines your future prosthesis.
Step 3
Surgery
Surgery under local anaesthesia, sedation or general anaesthesia depending on the difficulty and the patient’s anxiety.
Step 4
Back to you
After healing and osseointegration, your patient returns to you for the prosthesis, with the operation report.

Referring a patient.
With your patient’s consent, send a WhatsApp message to the practice, or give your patient a referral letter: they will book in the same way. To prepare the consultation, it is helpful to include:
A letter setting out the indication and your prosthetic plan.
If available: panoramic radiograph, CBCT, photographs and digital impressions (STL files).
For medical documents (letters, radiographs), please use the eHealthBox rather than WhatsApp, to respect medical confidentiality and the GDPR.
